MagneForce Software Systems specializes in producing motor simulation software for rotating electric machines using finite elements for magnetic field calculations together with various time-based techniques for circuit simulations. This approach allows MagneForce to accurately compute all harmonics and non-linearities whether they be magnetic, spatial or time based.

MagneForce Software Systems was started in 2001 to provide electric machine designers better tools for the design and simulation of those machines. Because the creators of MagneForce Software are motor designers themselves, their approach will feel comfortable to other engineers in the industry.

The MagneForce approach to motor design and simulation software combines magnetic finite element techniques with time-based circuit models and an intuitive user interface that is easy to learn. MagneForce provides the power of these models without the user needing to get involved with the tedium of setting up FE meshes, constraints, conditions, etc.

MagneForce simulators compute directly machine performance parameters such as voltages, currents, torque, power (real and imaginary), and efficiency. Output from MagneForce simulators also consists of the entire set of machine magnetic parameters including inductances, flux density distributions, demagnetization plots, and iron loss distributions.

Results from MagneForce simulations are provided in both tabular and graphic form. Results may be exported to text files or to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for easy integration into reports or other programs.
